HAND OVER THE WORK. KEEP THE VISIBILITY.

Outsource the books. Stay close to the numbers.

What outsourcing changes for you

Less recurring admin on your list

Transaction categorization, reconciliation and monthly reporting can take time away from serving customers. We discuss which of these tasks you want to hand over, look at the current records and agree what the ongoing service will cover.

A handoff that fits your workflow

Remote support still needs a way to exchange information. We review your accounts and tools, agree what records you will provide and discuss how questions will be handled. You do not need to organize everything before the first conversation.

Visibility after you delegate

Handing over bookkeeping should leave you able to understand your finances. You receive the agreed financial reports and can ask about the numbers. You remain the person who approves business decisions and provides context for transactions.

A PRACTICAL NEXT STEP

Decide what to keep and what to hand over.

01

Describe the workload

Tell us which bookkeeping jobs take your time and where things are falling behind.

02

Check the fit

We review the tools, accounts and reporting you need, including any backlog.

03

Agree the responsibilities

You get a scope and quote, with the records and input needed from you explained.

Bookkeeping support alongside your accountant

If you have an accountant or tax preparer, organized books can help you supply the records they request. Our service focuses on bookkeeping and reports. An engagement for full accounting, US tax advice, tax filing or payroll would need separate confirmation; those services are not included here.

BEFORE YOU DECIDE

Your questions, answered.

Is outsourced bookkeeping the same as monthly bookkeeping?

Outsourcing describes who does the work; monthly bookkeeping describes its recurring schedule. Our monthly service is one way to hand over routine tasks. This page explains the handoff and responsibilities.

Do you only work with local businesses?

Routinebooks offers online bookkeeping for US small businesses. The review is an opportunity to confirm whether your accounts and workflow suit remote support. We do not advertise local offices in US cities.

Can I outsource just the backlog?

We can review a catch-up or cleanup project separately from ongoing support. Tell us which periods need attention so we can assess the work.

How much involvement will you need from me?

You’ll need to provide records, respond to questions and review the information supplied. We agree the practical workflow before work begins; outsourcing does not remove your responsibility for your business records.
