START WHERE YOU ARE

Behind on the books? Bring the backlog.

You don’t need to have every receipt in order to ask for help. We’ll discuss the overdue months, look at what records are available and agree a plan for getting your bookkeeping current.

Free review. Clear next steps. No obligation.

Find out what needs catching up

Establish where the records stand

Tell us the last period you believe is complete and what has happened since. We review the available bookkeeping, accounts and supporting information to understand the gap. If you’re unsure which months are done, say so on the review.

Separate overdue work from cleanup

Catch-up work brings unrecorded periods into the books. Cleanup addresses issues in existing records, such as unexplained balances or transactions that need review. Your project may involve both. We explain the proposed work before agreeing the scope.

Set up a useful handoff

Once the agreed work is complete, you should understand which periods were covered and any outstanding questions. We discuss the next step, whether that is sharing records with your tax preparer or moving into a monthly bookkeeping routine.

A PRACTICAL NEXT STEP

Turn an uncertain backlog into a defined project.

01

Tell us the rough picture

Bring the periods, accounts and any deadlines you know about. An estimate is enough for the first conversation.

02

Identify what’s needed

We discuss statements, transaction information and other records needed to assess the project.

03

Review the proposal

We explain the scope and quote. Timing depends on the work and availability of the required information.

Have a deadline coming up?

Tell us at the start if an accountant or tax preparer is waiting for your records. We need to review the work before confirming timing. Bookkeeping cleanup does not include filing tax returns or guaranteeing that a filing deadline can be met.

BEFORE YOU DECIDE

Your questions, answered.

How far behind can my books be?

Tell us the periods involved so we can assess the backlog. The volume, condition of the records and available statements matter as well as the number of months. We confirm whether we can help after reviewing the setup.

What should I bring to the first review?

A rough idea of the overdue months, the software or spreadsheets you use, the accounts involved and any deadlines. You do not need to share account access to book a review.

Is catch-up work included in the monthly price?

Catch-up and cleanup are assessed separately. We explain any project work and ongoing service costs before you decide.

Can you prepare my tax return afterward?

US tax preparation is not included in this service. We focus on bookkeeping records that you can discuss and share with your own tax preparer.
